Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Hire Ned Cohen And Marc Eversley, Lottery Party Looms

RTRS Image 050716

The Sixers hired some guys!

Bryan Colangelo hired a guy whose name is Ned and is almost impossible to find on the internet. It seems like he’s flirting with us. We discuss the hiring of Cohen and Eversley, what Bryan Colangelo actually does, Mike D’Antoni’s interview in Houston and what that means for Brett Brown, and we take Twitter questions.

The Lottery Party is REALLY REALLY CLOSE. All information is at the link below. If you want to order your Lottery Party shirt to pickup at the party, the deadline is 5/10. There are no exceptions.

Also, become a fan of the Liberty Ballers at The Basketball Tournament. It’s free, it’s awesome, and it’s also easy to do.

There are now TWO t-shirts. The original, and the Hinkie shirt, using a quote from his 13-page letter.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Have Five Chances To Win One

RTRS Image 040316
On some level, winning only nine games this season would be appropriate. If you’re going to be bad, you might as well be all-time bad.

On another level, giving people one last chance to take shots at the team is something we’d probably all like to avoid.

We discuss the final five games, the loss to the Pacers, Villanova’s big win, Buddy Hield’s disappearing act and place in the draft, Sam Hinkie squatting 500 pounds, and take a boat load of Twitter questions.

We’re almost there, gang.

RTRS 013016 Image

It’s been a couple of weeks. We’re sorry! We’re back!

This episode features a quick wrap-up in the week(s) in Sixers, mid-season awards, and a celebration and discussion of Mr. Joel Embiid.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Night at The Sixers ticket sales went so well that the Sixers asked if we could keep it open until the game. Who am I to say no? If Ricky listeners want to come chant with us, let’s do it. So ticket sales will be open until the game, which is 2/26/16 against the Wizards. Tickets are $23, and everyone is registered to play basketball on the court on another date. We’re over 250 people so far. We could really make this thing weird, so let’s do it.

Buy tickets for Ricky Night at sixers.com/promo and use code RTRS.

The official shirt from our friends at Cheesesteaktees is amazing and available NOW. You must order by 2/19 to assure delivery by 2/26. Wear it to the game. The $19 includes shipping. Click the link below.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Sign Elton Brand And Win Another Game

RTRS 010916

What a week in Sixers! They signed Elton Brand, may add Shane Battier, won a game against the Timberwolves, and got crushed against the Hawks.

Spike watched a college basketball game, and Mike loves Brandon Ingram.

Let’s Ricky!

RTRS night for the Sixers has been a smashing success. We’re almost 200 strong so far. It’s been such a success, they’ve opened up more tickets. We can basically have as many as we want, but tickets will only be on sale until January 23rd. If you buy tickets, you’ll be registered to come play basketball for 90 minutes on the court at the Wells Fargo Center. A RTRS basketball game. We’ll select 25 winners from everyone who buys tickets.

BUY TICKETS AT: SIXERS.COM/PROMO and use PROMO CODE: RTRS. Tickets are $23.

As well, we’ll have a special RTRS Happy Hour at the Cure Auto Club at the The Center, from 5pm until 7pm on 2/26, before the game. We can practice our chants and get all the awkward, “hey, I’m BasketballGuy7676 from the internet” out of the way.
