Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Ricky Night At The Sixers Wrap-Up, Bad Defense And Down The Stretch Malaise

RTRS 022816 Image

Deadspin said we have Stockholm Syndrome, Max Rappaport got like a thousand retweets, we confused other fans and most of the beat writers, and a bunch of Process Trusters refused to chant “Let’s Go Sixers” on the big screen, to the confusion of one Christian Crosby. It was a successful RTRS Night at The Center.

We wrap up the evening’s highlights, talk about the (probably fake) Dennis Schroeder trade, and try to figure out why the Sixers stink so bad again.

HEY! The Rights To Ricky Sanchez Lottery Party is May 17th at XFinity Live. It starts at 6pm. The parking is FREE but you need to download the FREE PARKING TICKET. Click the image below for all the info and the FREE PARKING TICKET.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Trade Deadline Wrap-Up, Lottery Party Announcement

RTRS Image 021916

The Sixers made a franchise-altering trade at the deadline once again, acquiring Joel Anthony and a second round pick.

We discuss the trades, and non-trade of Jahlil Okafor, announce the 2016 Lottery Party location, and talking about how you actually get to the moon.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Night at The Sixers ticket sales went so well that the Sixers asked if we could keep it open until the game. Who am I to say no? If Ricky listeners want to come chant with us, let’s do it. So ticket sales will be open until the game, which is 2/26/16 against the Wizards. Tickets are $23, and everyone is registered to play basketball on the court on another date. Just about 300 people so far. We could really make this thing weird, so let’s do it.

Buy tickets for Ricky Night at sixers.com/promo and use code RTRS.

The official shirt from our friends at Cheesesteaktees is amazing and available NOW. It is too late to guarantee delivery by the game but you can still buy them.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Dads Gone Wild

CXxd-WbUsAE6dkk

The Sixers got crushed by the Clippers, and Jahlil Okafor’s dad and Kendall Marshall dad went nuts.

(photo credit to Michael Weber @thisisweber)

We discuss the Sixers dads going nuts, the win over the Kings, Ish Smith’s role, and what’s wrong with Robert Covington.

RTRS night for the Sixers has been a smashing success. We’re almost 200 strong so far. It’s been such a success, they’ve opened up more tickets. We can basically have as many as we want, but tickets will only be on sale until January 23rd. If you buy tickets, you’ll be registered to come play basketball for 90 minutes on the court at the Wells Fargo Center. A RTRS basketball game. We’ll select 25 winners from everyone who buys tickets.

BUY TICKETS AT: SIXERS.COM/PROMO and use PROMO CODE: RTRS. Tickets are $23.

As well, we’ll have a special RTRS Happy Hour at the Cure Auto Club at the The Center, from 5pm until 7pm on 2/26, before the game. We can practice our chants and get all the awkward, “hey, I’m BasketballGuy7676 from the internet” out of the way.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Is This Rock Bottom For The Sixers?

RTRS Image 1219 15

How many times have we asked this question in the last three years?

“Are they too bad?”

How many times is too many times to ask that question?

We talk about the state of The Process, the D’Antoni hiring, the state of the team, the return of Kendall Marshall and Tony Wroten, the development of Jahlil Okafor, and which guards should stay or go.

RTRS night for the Sixers has been a smashing success. We’re about 150 strong so far. Lee has introduced a LIMITED, ONLY FOUR OF THEM (pictured at the bottom of the post), Rights To Ricky Sanchez engagement ring and wedding band combo. The beautiful rings are 14k white gold and are 1.00ctw of diamonds including the matching wedding band. They would normally be $3100 each, but for RTRS listeners, through the end of the year, they’re just $1999. Call or tweet LL if you’re interested.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Get A Win, Add Tony Wroten

RTRS Image 120515

What a strange week for the Sixers. They become the focal point of the basketball world for one night as Kobe Bryant returns, they get their first win, another video is released of Jahlil Okafor fighting, Sam Hinkie isn’t talking (who would have guessed!), Tony Wroten returns, the Sixers blow another close game, and the pitchforks are out.

Just how we like it! We get into all of those things, the LL Pavorsky Holiday Party, and finally, the way to identify true Trusters Of The Process.

The Rights To Ricky Sanchez is brought to you by LL Pavorsky Jewelers, the absolute best place to buy an engagement ring, or any jewelry at all. Mostly because the guy selling it to you is LL Pavorsky, who is a straight up dude. We’re at five RTRS listeners who have purchased engagement rings from LL, and they’ve all been thrilled.

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Are 0-17 And Jahlil Okafor Is Fighting People

RTRS 112815

The Sixers are -0-17… again.

They’re clearly playing better, but is it enough? Of course we discuss Jahlil’s Okafor’s (two) fights, Brett Brown’s late game struggles, the resurrection of Robert Covington, and if there’s ever been a group of fans more eager to see Tony Wroten and Kendall Marshall.

TRUST THE PAVORSKY! The LL Pavorsky Jewelers Holiday (and new website launch) Party is Saturday, December 5th from 5pm until 9pm. I (Spike) will be there with my lovely wife. Also JAKE F’N PAVORSKY. You can get 20% off all of LL’s jewelry, eat free mini-cheesesteaks, drink free Pavortini’s, and enter raffles (that benefit PAWS!!) for iPads, gift cards to local restaurants, and a beautiful Sunset Collection diamond ring (see at the bottom of the post).

The party is FREE (WHAT!?), but you have to RSVP. Let’s have a lovely evening with Lee.

RSVP

Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Open Season With Mixed Results

RTRS 103115

Hey, Jahlil Okafor looked great! But they can’t score any points! But Nerlens looks like he’s on another level! But can Brett Brown coach offense?! But Sauce Castillo hit a three and the crowd went nuts!

There were some mixed results in the first week of the 2015-16 Sixers, and we break it all down as we saw it.

Some good news for those who use different platforms to listen to podcasts than we’ve offered in the past: The Rights To Ricky Sanchez is now available on Stitcher (link below) and will soon be available on Google Play Music. As always, you can listen via iTunes and your favorite podcast app with the below RSS feed. And as always, we love your positive reviews, as they help spread the word.
