The Degenerate Podcast: NFL Three-Team Tease And Future Bets

kenny_rogers_portraitFantasource IS BACK ON TRACK BABY.

After a win in his three-team teaser last week, the march toward .500 is going full steam ahead.

On this week’s podcast, Fantasource talks about some NFL future bets he has for this year, and we talk about his regrettable NBA future bet. He gives out a three-team teaser, and Spike gives out a three-team ‘gut’ teaser as well.

The Degenerate Podcast: Make Your Own Trends + 3 Team NFL Tease

kenny_gold records(1)

You know all those slick trends you see professional gambler guys come up with?

“This team is 18-2 against the spread after a bye week against a division opponent when favorite by more than four points when the temperature is under 42 degrees in a leap year.”

Well you can generate these yourself, and it’s free and pretty easy. Fantasource fills you in, and gives you a three team tease in the NFL for this weekend.

The Degenerate Podcast: NFL Three Team Tease and NBA Awards Odds

kenny-rogers-retrospective-music-05

We suffered our first three-team teaser loss of the season last week on The Degenerate. But that will not STOP US FROM MARCHING ON.

Fantasource is back with a new, four-Bazaar three team tease for this week’s NFL action. As well, we try to find some value in NBA awards and league-leader odds.

As always, this is for AMUSEMENT PURPOSES ONLY unless you live in an area where sports gambling is legal.

Seelig_David_N_014_Kenny_Rogers_55

Woohoo! We’re 1-0.

The three team teaser that Fantasource gave out on last week’s edition of The Degenerate podcast was a winner (even though this is for amusement purposes only).

In today’s edition, we give out another tease, as well as go over some NBA Championship and division title odds.

The Delcos Files #2: Man Robs Dunkin’ Donuts On National Donut Day

Not really the guy who did it, this is in Brooklyn.

The Delco Files is a new feature on spikeeskin.com. I imagine Fantasource and I will be the main contributors. I grew up in Delco, so I can say whatever I want about Delco. You’re going to love the Granite Run Mall Photo Gallery.

It’s National Donut Day, which is one of those silly, made up holidays, but still definitely exists. And really, whatever, most holidays are made up holidays. That’s what makes this all the more amazing (from the Delco Times):

UPPER DARBY – Police are searching for a man who fled on foot after holding up a township Dunkin’ Donuts on Friday afternoon.

The armed robbery occurred about 2:10 p.m. in the 2800 block of Township Line Road. A black male with a dark complexion and medium build entered the store brandishing a handgun, according to Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood.

OMG. Please tell me he stole donuts. Please, please, please.

“He went in and demanded the money and made off with in excess of $1,500,” Chitwood said.

Well that sucks. Glad no one was hurt. But you have to at least mention …

The alleged robbery takes place on National Donut Day, which Dunkin’ Donut franchises celebrated by giving one free donut to each customer with the purchase of a beverage.

Well done.

The Delco Files #1: Someone Stole Five Dollars

The Delco Files is a new feature on spikeeskin.com. I imagine Fantasource and I will be the main contributors. I grew up in Delco, so I can say whatever I want about Delco. You’re going to love the Granite Run Mall Photo Gallery.

There are wars going on right now in the world.

There is an unprecedented financial crisis.

We are on the verge of an important presidential election.

New diseases are discovered each day.

Also, some stole five dollars.

From the Delaware County Daily Times:

RIDLEY TOWNSHIP — A Philadelphia woman was charged with stealing a $5 tip from a table at Applebee’s, according to court documents.

Ashley D. Thurston, 24, and a male had finished eating their meals and paid their bill at the restaurant, which is located on East MacDade Boulevard, on May 17. As they were walking out, a witness allegedly saw Thurston take the tip from another table, the probable-cause affidavit states.

The couple left the restaurant and they were last seen on MacDade Boulevard. Police, responding to a report of a theft at 2:16 p.m., were provided a description of the couple. A woman matching the description of the female patron in question was stopped in the 100 block of East MacDade. Witnesses from the restaurant were brought to the scene of the stop and positively identified Thurston as the person who had taken the $5 tip.

Thurston was taken into custody and charged with third-degree misdemeanor theft and receiving stolen property. Her bail was set at 10 percent of $15,000, which according to online records wasn’t posted until Monday.

The status of a preliminary hearing, listed for Monday before Magisterial District Judge Vincent D. Gallagher Jr., was not immediately available.

Look, there’s crime in Delco, real, actual crime. Can you imagine the look on the cop’s face when he got the call for this one? I remember when I got pulled over in Los Angeles for blowing a red light. The police officer was so furious, not because I blew the light per se, but because we were in SOUTH CENTRAL and he had to waste his time with me.

So many times someone says “I’m calling the cops!” and doesn’t really mean it. It takes all kinds.

Isn’t that how that song goes by Jay-Z? “Y’all never seen big face money, till them big face … fives.”
