Rights To Ricky Sanchez Podcast: Sixers Dads Gone Wild

The Sixers got crushed by the Clippers, and Jahlil Okafor’s dad and Kendall Marshall dad went nuts.

We discuss the Sixers dads going nuts, the win over the Kings, Ish Smith’s role, and what’s wrong with Robert Covington.

RTRS night for the Sixers has been a smashing success. We’re almost 200 strong so far. It’s been such a success, they’ve opened up more tickets. We can basically have as many as we want, but tickets will only be on sale until January 23rd. If you buy tickets, you’ll be registered to come play basketball for 90 minutes on the court at the Wells Fargo Center. A RTRS basketball game. We’ll select 25 winners from everyone who buys tickets.

As well, we’ll have a special RTRS Happy Hour at the Cure Auto Club at the The Center, from 5pm until 7pm on 2/26, before the game. We can practice our chants and get all the awkward, “hey, I’m BasketballGuy7676 from the internet” out of the way.

Okafors still the best player on this team.
Just cuz the sixers won two games (also against shitty teams), doesn’t change that. Ish and Noel are not the combo that’s gonna make this plan work… It needs to be centered around JAH. How did you question his “Jahlil way” last night when he was making everything. Really sucks that’s you’re the channel to sixers fans cause I couldn’t disagree with your view points more

It’s more than those two games. They play so much better without him out there, on both sides of the ball. We’re screwed if the front office thinks he’s a franchise player.

      • Ryan Thompson

Yea but you’re talking about a bunch of D-league players, so what difference does it make? And even further, how much is “so much better”??? Are you another one of those people that had the Sixers winning 25 games this year?

        • Alex S

I had them winning in the high teens at least. I’m not sure they’ll even get 12 now. There are a bunch of advanced stats and on/off stats out there that really frown on Okafor’s “impact”, which has been highly negative so far.

  • Ryan Thompson

He’s 20 years old.. Nerlens is 21… We’re not even halfway through the season… I’ll worry about the advanced stats later
